As you know I just recently passed my NAPLEX exam ( to read more about that click here) and before taking my exam I managed to get through the entire RxPrep book. Luckily for you guys I will share my study schedule and how I managed to get through the entire book in just 30 days. After the 30 days I had 6 days to review certain topics I felt I needed to be stronger in and practiced calculations up until my exam date.

*Note: Some days are easier than others and some days are harder within this study schedule but you CAN do it! I don’t account for calculations in the study schedule below so please include calculation practice and review Prescription Top Sellers on easier study days or perhaps on your break days. Good Luck!

Congratulations you have completed the entire RxPrep book! You do not have to necessarily use RxPrep for the study schedule above. You may also use it for reviewing class notes or for other resources such as Kaplan etc.

Do not forget to keep practicing calculations when you can and your brand names. It helps using flashcards for drug brand names and there are a bunch of great online Quizlets out there to use for example this Quizlet here!

  1. This is a god send – thank you for sharing! I had to push back my test date from June 22 to July 19th due to some family emergencies that have come up and being unable to study for my exam…….so this will be my best friend up until my test date!

  2. I have heard that the rxprep didnt do a good job going over compounding. What are your thoughts?

    1. It is not the strongest but honestly covers the basic you need for the exam.
